“Duke” It Out with Duke’s Chowder House at First Annual VIP Long Live The Kings Salmon Fishing Derby*

“Duke” It Out with Duke’s Chowder House at First Annual Long Live The Kings Fishing Derby Duke’s Buys You Chowder For One Year*
Open Letter to Anyone Who Loves To Eat Salmon And Those That Love To Restore Salmon:June 18-21, on British Columbia’s beautiful Esperanza Inlet.

Come fish with me and help Long Live The Kings restore wild salmon and steelhead to Northwest waters. Join me June 18-21 at Newton Cove Resort, a beautiful first class fishing lodge on Vancouver Island and compete for $25,000 in prizes at the First Annual Long Live The Kings’ VIP Salmon Fishing Derby. (See complete Derby Rules here.)*Here’s the deal. It’s a bit of a bait-and-switch (pardon the pun) by me. You pay $5,000 plus transport costs and I give you chowder for one year at any of our six Duke’s Chowder House locations (Value $10,000 when you eat chowder twice a day). See details below. Also included for each fisher is a copy of our new cookbook, As Wild As It Gets . . . Duke’s Secret Sustainable Seafood Recipes. Limited to only 40 fisher people. $2,500 of your $5,000 goes directly to benefit LLTK to fund their work to figure out why juvenile salmon and steelhead are dying in our marine waters so we can figure out how to multiply and recover our endangered salmon and steelhead populations and to increase fishing opportunities in the Salish Sea and the Pacific Northwest.I care deeply about the sustainability of our seafood. I will do everything I can to make sure that there is plenty of wild salmon and other seafood for our grandchildren and our grandchildren’s grandchildren. I hope you will, too.Sustainably yours,

P.S. Also, if you out fish me, I’ll buy you dinner for 4. If I out fish you, you buy dinner for 4. Either way, you get fed. Biggest salmon over 3 days wins.

P.P.S. If I win any prizes offered by LLTK, I will return to LLTK. They need the money and I would be thrilled to give all of it back.

Enjoy world-class fishing and luxury accommodations while competing with forty of LLTK’s most generous supporters for more than $25,000 in prizes. This presents a splendid opportunity for some of Washington’s most influential environmentalists to become better acquainted while enjoying fantastic fishing in an iconic northwest setting.
