Unlike other seafood corporations that are owned by investment bankers, Trident Seafoods is family owned and proud of it. Other seafood companies merely purchase the fish they process. Unlike them, we also catch it. We sell the best seafood because we control every part of the process, every step of the way.

These shared values sustain our partnership with Duke’s Chowder House. On multiple occasions, Duke himself has visited two of our locations in Sand Point and Cordova, Alaska so he can personally approve the quality and traceability of Trident Seafoods’ Wild Alaska Cod and Copper River Coho. Duke even hopped aboard one of the fishing boats to fish and shake hands with the crew. All to ensure that he has an intimate knowledge of the fish you are served.

Note from Duke: I have been buying seafood from Trident for over 40 years.  Chuck and now his son Joe have always been great partners. They have allowed me to get on the inside of the fishing business so I can fully understand the resource in order to bring phenominal tasting seafood to our guests.  Not only that, they share our values in being responsible stewards for the fishing resource with which we are so blessed.
